Biography

Mark Davies heads up outside the box (otb), a successful marketing agency with offices in Leeds and London.

He has 25 years of experience in the marketing sector and founded outside the box in 1993, an award winning business, employing 38 staff, that provides a fully integrated online and offline service for major national clients, such as Thomas Cook, VISA and npower. The business enjoys a proven track record of success with profitability, staff growth and an upbeat business attitude. Mark has nurtured OTB into one of the most successful businesses in its field nationally.

Mark specialises in seeking out and thinking through clients’ marketing issues to find solutions; working strategically to help companies to become more profitable by releasing the inherent creative potential in their people, products and services.

Mark is also a director of Think! a creativity and innovation management company. Think! specialises in bringing about innovation that lasts, spearheading themes such as new product development and embedding innovation processes and creativity methodology.

Mark is the co-author of the book, Think, which became the best selling innovations book in the UK and is currently being sold in the UK, North America and Japan and has also co-authored a new book, Making Waves, which will be published this year focusing on the future of marketing.
