Does your environment affect your creativity
For me the answer is easy. Absolutely!
The wonderful thing about being one of the think team is that you can choose where you want to live and work. My home is a little village in Scotland with beautiful views over the loch. I'm also very fortunate to have a home in Spain with a stunning vista of the Med and Mountains. Each view inspires me in different ways and gazing out to a wonderful horizon has without doubt contributed in a positive way to some life changing decisions I have made over the years. They have also influenced the work that I do for and with my clients.
As the seasons change so does the vista - from snow on a frozen loch to the wonderful hues of a Spanish winter sunrise - so very different but so equally inspiring.
This morning I woke up to this view and it encouraged me to stop and take time to think and let the hustle and bustle of every day life simply evaporate.
Some of your best business and life ideas can emerge when you are in a good place - physically and mentally.
Where do you find your inspiration? Is there a special place that totally inspires you? Somewhere where your creativity just seems to flow? You might not need to travel far to your special place - it could be a cottage garden round the corner, the top of a hill, an art gallery or simply somewhere where you have the space and time to ponder. If you'd like to share your special place and why it's inspired you then I'd love to hear from you.
So wherever you are - in the sun or snow - I wish you and yours a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and inspiring New Year.
